Possum Kingdom – Toadies
Possum Kingdom is one of the songs that reminds me of my adolescence. Not any one part of my youth, but all of it. The album Rubberneck, by the Toadies, was a huge success. They are actually still riding the wave of those old songs today. That’s right, if you didn’t know, the Toadies are back together and performing regularly. That gets me so excited.
All of the Toadies’ songs have had a creepiness factor to them. A buddy of mine told me that the whole album Rubberneck was a concept album about vampires. After my initial disbelief, I read through some of their lyrics. I have to say, it sounds like vampires to me. That’s why I used this video. I don’t know much about this anime series, but I believe it is about a vampire hunter named Hellsing.
Yeah, vampires are cool.
You know they have a new album out, right?
I was actually just talking about it with my brother today. I know I gave it a listen through a week or so ago; it’s more or less more of the same, which, if you love the Toadies, you’d probably love this.
For me, it’s was just kinda, meh.
